Zone File	Zone Files contain information about one or more domain names and is usually found on a name server. The information relates to a list of DNS records that shows the mapping between IP addresses and domain names. Zone files can easily be edited as they are in plain text and due to this they need to be highly protected on a secure sever and it is always good to have a backup of these files on a different computer.
